About The Program
This is the highest level ensemble at Linden Middle School. This ensemble has a tradition of music excellence and we strive to sustain it. This ensemble is to prepare students for the High School Band experience. Students will be playing basic High School music as well as Advanced Middle School music. The students will also focus on building their technical and tonal foundations. Students will work hard everyday in class to make sure that they are completely prepared for the High School Band experience.
Interested in Marching Band?
There is also an opportunity for the students to participate in the High School Marching Band. This is an after school activity (like a sport or a club) that practices every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. This seems like a huge commitment, but the rewards of being in this ensemble greatly out weigh this aspect of being in the ensemble. The students will also have the opportunity to meet and work with High School students before they get into the high school.
